Dr. AKHIL R KRISHNAN

Dr. Akhil is a highly skilled Ayurvedic practitioner with over ten years of experience in offering holistic Ayurvedic treatments. He completed his BAMS degree from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science and gained extensive experience by working as a trainee in major Ayurvedic hospitals in Kerala and Karnataka before becoming a Resident Medical Officer at AVP Ayushman Hospital Kozhikode for two years. 

Dr. Akhil has also served as an OP consultant at Nagarjuna Clinic, Kallai branch, and Aryavaidya Vilasini Vaidyasala, Palayam branch, and Kerala Ayurveda Cooperative Society-Arakkinar, before establishing his own Ayurvedic clinic, Karma Ayurveda Retreat, in Nallalam, Kozhikode.

At Pravriti Ayur Heritage (PAH), Dr. Akhil and his team offer various specialized Ayurvedic treatments for a wide range of health conditions. Their approach involves personalized treatment plans that incorporate Ayurvedic therapies to address specific health concerns and support overall well-being. Dr. Akhil’s expertise extends beyond Ayurvedic rheumatology to include treatment for anorectal conditions. He also integrates yoga into his practice to aid patients in achieving enduring health and vitality. After completing the YIC course from S-Vyasa University, Bangalore, Dr. Akhil has actively contributed to the Ayurveda Medical Association of India (AMAI), Kozhikode South, serving as an Area Secretary (2017-2018). His dedication during the Kerala flood relief efforts in 2018 was specially recognized by the government dispensary in Cheruvannur, Kozhikode.

Dr. Akhila Sankar, BAMS, MSC Yoga, and CSM, is a dedicated and highly experienced Ayurvedic specialist with a profound passion for bringing the holistic benefits of Ayurveda to a global audience. With a decade of expertise in the field, Dr. Akhila excels at diagnosing diseases at dosa and dhatu levels and providing targeted treatments. Her adeptness extends to analysing deha prakruthi (body constitution), allowing for personalised and effective healthcare solutions.

Dr. Akhila adopts an integrated approach to treatment, seamlessly combining Ayurveda, Yoga, Meditation, Smrithi Meditation, and Physiotherapy. Holding a postgraduate degree in MSC Health and Yoga Therapy with a UGC net, she has further enriched her skill set through certificate courses in panchakarma, marma, cosmetology, cupping therapy, and smrithi meditation.

As the Medical Officer at Pravriti Ayur Heritage, Dr. Akhila Sankar has established a unique governance practice that ensures the most effective treatments through a transparent and monitored process, instilling confidence in her patients.
